Storyline:
A
mother and her daughter are running short of money and are thankful
that they could rent a room to a writer (Gennady Petrovich). The mother
is lonely and the daughter is coming of age. The mother immediately gets
in love with him, which causing to the daughter a terrible jealousy.
And then the daughter chooses the most unfailing weapon - she tries to
discourage him from her mother. She tries to get his attention by
parading around without panties, asking his help with her shower, and
rubbing up against him and flashing him whenever her mother is not
looking. She is even trying to convince her mom, that since she is
becoming a woman, that he should teach her some of the finer points of
love. Could the grown man resist the charms of a 14 year-old nymphet?

Storyline: 23-year-old Muscovite pastry chef Kseniya (Svetlana Ivanova) is very busy with her new second-chance romantic relationship, while her 7-year-old son Artyom (Artyom Fadeev), suffering from the pain of his parents separation, hides in a world of fantasy every time he feels like been hurt or lonely. In his (children's theater play inspired) fantasies he sees himself as a superhero Kosmoboy, who, together with a giant Kind Robot (face and voice of Egor Beroev) battles against the terrifying monster robot Mrakovlast ("Darklord"). Everything changes when Kseniya decides to take a vacation in Sochi with her new boyfriend Yegor (Aleksandr Oleshko). At the same time she gets a call from her ex-husband and Artyom's father Ossetian Zaur (Egor Beroev), who serves as a peacekeeper in South Ossetia. He tells her he misses Artyom very much and asks her to send the boy to his parents, who live in the village of Sidamonta, right next to the administrative border separating South Ossetia from the rest of Georgia. Zaur assures her that everything is perfectly safe. As Yegor can not find understanding with Artyom and Kseniya needs some private time with her new lover, after some hesitation, she agrees, but on the condition that Zaur sends her son back immediately as soon as she asks him to. It occurs on the eve of August 8, 2008, when Kseniya learns from Internet articles that South Ossetia is turning into a conflict zone. She calls Zaur and demands that her boy is brought back to Russia. Zaur, seing his parents happy with their so-missed grandson, and Artyom obviously enjoying his vacation in the Caucasus, tries to convince Kseniya, that those Internet articles are maybe not true, but she does not want to listen to him. Ksenia, having a bad feeling, comes to Ygor in his bank, but unexpectedly he proves himself to be from very ugly party, when he says to it that he least wants to be got involved in her family problems and said, the "she's like a little, because she should be taught throughout"...
Storyline: Johnnie To's Breaking News gets a Moscow make over in this remake from Frostbite director Anders Banke. When footage of Russian police failing to capture a vicious gang of robbers makes the news, public confidence in the police plummets. Determined that the police can regain their reputation by broadcasting their hunt for the gang, business savvy PR director Katya convinces the authorities to turn the mission into a reality show. At first Katya's plan seems to work, but when the plan backfires and the police come up empty handed, editors manipulate the footage to make it look like the mission was a success. Enraged after seeing the falsified outcome of the conflict on television, the leader of the gang wages a media war by firing up his webcam and broadcasting the real story as it continues to unfold.

Storyline: Elena and Vladimir are an older couple, they come from different backgrounds. Vladimir is a wealthy and cold man, Elena comes from a modest milieu and is a docile wife. They have met late in life and each one has children from previous marriages. Elena's son is unemployed, unable to support his own family and he is constantly asking Elena for money. Vladimir's daughter is a careless young woman who has a distant relationship with her father. A heart attack puts Vladimir in hospital, where he realizes that his remaining time is limited. A brief but somehow tender reunion with his daughter leads him to make an important decision: she will be the only heiress of his wealth. Back home he announces it to Elena. Her hopes to financially help her son suddenly vanish. The shy and submissive housewife then comes up with a plan to give her son and grandchildren a real chance in life.
